Why Te Naroba Consulting
Tevita is a Financial Wellbeing Specialist, an experienced Community Engagement Practitioner (particularly with Pacific Island and Indigenous communities), and an Accredited Financial Counsellor and Supervisor (under FCAWA).
He has a comprehensive work history (including in remote and regional areas) in the Banking, Insurance, Telecommunications, Mining, Community Services and Small Business sectors.
Tevita has extensive customer and client service experience with strong skills in negotiation, advocacy, mentoring, event planning, logistics, program coordination and facilitating, relationship building and strengthening financial wellbeing for Indigenous people.
He recently completed a Masters of Philosophy (Indigenous and Research Development), a Thesis focussed on enhancing the financial wellbeing of the East Kimberley (North West Australia) mob. A passionate advocate of strong financial wellbeing for Pacific Island and Indigenous people being a key to self-determination and economic empowerment.

MEET THE TEAM
ASHBURTON ABORIGINAL CORPORATION (through PCLS)
Tevita facilitated a Financial Wellbeing Workshop Series for job-ready participants of Ashburton Aboriginal Corporation on the 29th and 30th August 2024 in Karratha.
This two-day workshop included budgeting, understanding your payslip, insurance, good debt vs. bad debt, superannuation, an introduction to wills and more! Each participant received an Activity booklet, a copy of the workshop slides, plus a Certificate of Participation at the end of the workshop.
AGAPE STAR CHRISTIAN SCHOOL
